- What Does Discipleship Look Like? Becoming a Brand New Creationby Dr. Pam Morrison on February 7, 2023 at 10:30 am
Discipleship is what comes after putting your belief in Jesus. But it is a neglected part of Christian life. Sometimes people can feel they've been left floundering on their own, not knowing what to do next, how to study, pray, or grow. Therefore, we need to talk more about it and set up thoughtful ways in which to walk with people. This podcast is a discussion of the "new responsibilities" that come from turning to Christ. He enables us to immediately "walk" with Him and serve Him even as we are growing. But what explicitly does a follower of Jesus do? Is there a succinct passage of scripture that describes the new life Christ gives. The answer is yes and you can find it in this podcast. You can find more about the benefits of being a Christian in this article: How Can I Gain More Fully All the Benefits of the Christian Life To connect with me on my website and social media please click this link to my page where you will find all addresses.
- What to Do When Under Attack - Wisdom from the Psalmsby Dr. Pam Morrison on January 31, 2023 at 10:30 am
A friend of mine went through a season of tremendous attack within the Church. But God was faithful and brought him through it. What do you do when suddenly you seem to have many human enemies, trying to pull you down with gossip and the manipulation of other people's attitudes towards you. Feeling alone and under attack can make you want to take matters into your own hands and fight back. But how should we see the situation with spiritual eyes? And what is God up to when we're suddenly "surrounded by enemies?" This podcast is a guide for anyone under attack as to how to endure and have victory over the personal attacks. - When Feeling Defeated, Jesus Can Heal and Lift You Upby Dr. Pam Morrison on January 24, 2023 at 10:30 am
All of us struggle with feelings of defeat at times. The way gets too hard. Too many challenges are in front of us or we feel like we have failed in some way. It isn't God's desire for us to remain in this state of mind. Scripture has many stories of people who failed or who felt like failures, but God had a different view of them. One of the classic pictures of our perspective on things colliding with God's is when Gideon was hiding in a winepress threshing wheat, because his people felt so scared of and defeated by the Midianites. The angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon and said, "Hello, mighty warrior." Gideon, in his own eyes, was no mighty warrior. He was a hiding out coward at that moment. But, God called him out of it and into the one he would become with God's aid. God can and will do the same for us. This is a podcast about defeating defeat! - Jesus is the Healer of Our Identityby Dr. Pam Morrison on January 17, 2023 at 10:30 am
When Jesus encounters each of us and we put our faith in Him, He does a marvelous thing. He utterly transforms us. He doesn't improve our life. He takes us from death to life, from being sinner to being saint. We're given new identity, new purpose, and new power. Because of Him, we become finally capable of really loving others and ourselves. This is the good news of the gospel. Freed from sin and death, in Christ, we become set for eternal life. Many people do not know this. They need to hear the gospel and experience relationship with Jesus. Some of them are in churches and do not realize they haven't crossed over from death to life. There is a real urgency to share the good news of Christ. We're called to be His witnesses to a hurting world. He gives us the new identity to enable us to do that. - A Christmas Message of Hope - God Has Not Forgotten Youby Dr. Pam Morrison on December 20, 2022 at 10:30 am
Sometimes it feels difficult to celebrate Christmas. The difficulties and even tragedies in our own lives may settle over us with gloom. The national and world events may seem to grow in darkness. A week ago, we attended the funeral mass of a friend who died way too soon and at this time, of all times. Can we overcome the world and still find ourselves singing, "Joy to the World?" I believe we can. Using the Nativity account from Luke's gospel, this podcast focuses on God's awareness and blessing of the "cast of characters" in the Christmas story. At the end of this podcast is the account of a pastor from Australia who was taken to heaven. Prior to God's sudden blessing of him, he felt defeated and forgotten. But now, all is different. This can also be your life. God wants to bless you and I pray your fresh encounter with Him will come this Christmas. - When Feeling Betrayed, Rejected, Abandoned...Jesus Healsby Dr. Pam Morrison on December 13, 2022 at 10:30 am
It is part of our lives as people to encounter betrayals. We all know what it is to have moments of rejection, hurt, and abandonment. But, how do we recover from that pain? How do we walk away from perhaps feeling extremely angry and wanting to get even? Jesus knew betrayal in His life. Ultimately, He felt utterly abandoned and alone on the cross surrounded by those who mocked and tortured Him. He understands our pain. And because He understands and is God, He can bring healing and freedom back into our lives. Jesus Heals. That is the name of a series that begins with this podcast. - How Do I Break Free of Spiritual Strongholds in My Life?by Dr. Pam Morrison on December 6, 2022 at 10:30 am
Habits, addictions, and attitudes can have a stranglehold on our lives. They are what is called strongholds and it can seem impossible to get rid of them. But that is not true. You can get free even if you have struggled for a long time. In this podcast, I give the testimony of a friend who had a drinking problem for decades, but she got free of alcohol. She was motivated by a scary episode of physical pain that made her question the danger her habit put her in. She is now alcohol free and has been so for a year. You can lose your strongholds too. In this episode, I mention the Spiritual Warfare Bible as a good resource for "doing war" against bad habits and attacks of the enemy of our souls. You can find this Bible on Charisma by going here.

- Restoring Childlike Faith with Joel Yount, Co-founder of Spirit Fuelby Dr. Pam Morrison on November 22, 2022 at 10:30 am
"The longest distance is the 18 inches between the head and the heart," someone once said. What they meant is that we sometimes have ideas about God and the world that keep us from having a childlike faith in our hearts. In our brains are facts about God, perhaps, but also there are blockers - like doubt, painful experiences, disappointment, and negative feelings - that keep us from trusting God in a simple and fervent way. In this podcast episode, there is a brief audio tape portion from author, podcaster, and co-founder of Spirit Fuel, Joel Yount. Joel gives a pathway and prays for the audience in regards to restoring a child like faith. Jesus said having this type of faith is the only entry point into the kingdom of heaven so this is vital information. Joel's personal page, where you can find his podcast, books, his rumble and YouTube sites, and more is JoelYount.com. Spirit Fuel can be found at spiritfuel.me. - Staying Hope-Filled in Trials and Tribulationsby Dr. Pam Morrison on November 15, 2022 at 10:28 am
Are you suffering now? Is someone you love in a huge storm of life? Trying to walk forward in times of hardship can seem impossible. Yet, with God, all things are possible. He is the "fourth man in the furnace" - if you remember the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, three young men who were sentenced to die by burning as told in the Book of Daniel - when viewed in the fiery furnace, there was a fourth man with them. It was the Lord. He is the fourth man in all of the "fiery furnaces" of life that we go through. This is a podcast about enduring suffering and doing it in triumph. If you need hope and encouragement, it is in these words. A woman who endured great suffering and who now encourages others is mentioned in the podcast. Her name is Wendy Wallace. If you want to visit her website, you can find it here. My interview of Wendy can be found in this podcast. It is called "Overcoming Adversity to Truly Live with Wendy Wallace." - He was Numbered Among the Transgressors - Isaiah 53:12by Dr. Pam Morrison on November 8, 2022 at 10:30 am
When we stop and consider the implications of the Gospel, it can "take our breath away," to think about the vastness of the love of God for us. The cross of Christ is the greatest emblem of love ever revealed to humanity. God so loved the world that He sent His only Son. How do we get so we respond to the world as Jesus did to us? I think of a church leader who once said, "I love God and I love to worship, but I can't stand the people." Maybe somewhere in your heart, there still lingers disdain for certain types of people with certain types of needs. Would you like to see that hardness in your own heart finally go away? This podcast is all about that - the love of God, the depth of that love shown in the cross, and you becoming more deeply made in the image of God. - Growing Deep and Sustaining Spiritual Roots with Traci Rhoadesby Dr. Pam Morrison on October 31, 2022 at 9:30 am
Author Traci Rhoades shares about her newest book, Shaky Ground: What To Do After The Bottom Drops Out. We all go through times where pressure and heartache can be unbearable. How do spiritual practices sustain us? Are there practices from traditions different from our own that might be wonderful tools to have? In her trademark way, Traci continues to explore Church in this new book. She is known by her openness to experience Jesus Christ and encounter with Him by "trying" out the spiritual ways of Christians different from her home church. Her point in this book and in this podcast is that Jesus told us we would have trouble in this world (John 16:33) but in Him we CAN have peace despite the trouble. Spiritual practices keep us connected to Him. Traci can be found at tracesoffaith.com and on Twitter @tracesoffaith. - God's Grace for Those Suffering from Addiction with Ervin Leeby Dr. Pam Morrison on October 25, 2022 at 9:30 am
God's redemption of us holds this beautiful gift. We can then turn around and help others, experiencing even more healing through giving. Ervin Lee, host of the From Beer to the Bible podcast, along with Sarah Oliveria-McDonald, is my guest today. Ervin "functioned" with hidden alcoholism and worked as a dynamic businessman. Eventually, his world toppled and he admitted that he needed help. You'll hear his story and how God brought him around to being a strong man of God, an author, a podcast host, and entrepeneur. Nothing is impossible with God. He can turn around the most hopeless of situations, and rescue those who seem completely lost. Ervin's show From Beer to the Bible can be found here. - As the End Times Unfold with Dr. Stella Immanuelby Dr. Pam Morrison on October 18, 2022 at 9:30 am
Dr. Stella Immanuel "was thrust into the limelight, making global news for her appearance in front of the Supreme Court steps in what became a viral video addressed to the American people. Dr. Stella and several other brave doctors, called out the political and medical establishment for their efforts to suppress life saving Covid treatments. Many point to this day as a watershed moment in the resistance to the Covid mandates." (from Dr. Stella's media info) Dr. Stella, in this podcast episode, speaks about safe and effective treatments for Covid, including hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin, that became the subject of ridicule and yet were so effective in countless lives. She talks about their usage in west Africa where malaria is endemic and the surprising much lower statistic for Covid deaths in that area. The effort to suppress information about alternative treatments is more than a medical tug-o-war. It is part of a spiritual battle for the direction of this nation and the nations of the world. This is a podcast episode that addresses medicine, politics, faith, the end times and more. Dr. Stella offers her perspectives on these issues to give you strength and awareness for the times in which we live. She specifically speaks about steps to take to prepare for the end times - medicines to have on hand, food supply, and other steps to take. Update: she recently spoke with Dr. Stephen Strang about Revelation 6 and the end times as we talked about in this interview. - When Disappointment Comes, Trust Godby Dr. Pam Morrison on October 11, 2022 at 9:30 am
One of the challenges to having a robust, vital faith is the "hard knocks" of life. We get discouraged, disappointed, and then, the possibility exists to pull away from God. But, we must dig our heels in and say, "No matter what I see, God is good." Declaring this heart attitude, believing in God's goodness, makes possible an exit from troubles with our faith intact. This is a previously released podcast. I am in Cuba with pastor and missionary friends and will return in a week with a fresh podcast. - The Key to Walking in the Power of Jesus Todayby Dr. Pam Morrison on October 4, 2022 at 9:30 am
Many hunger to have greater power expressed through their ministry, but go after it in ways that may not increase the signs, wonders, and miracles they long for. How did such power flow through Jesus? Of course, He was and is God who came to us in the flesh, but even so, what can we see about the way He approached people that might be life-changing for us, His followers? In this episode, the story of Jesus' encounter with the widow of Nain is described and the Jesus way of approaching people in great need. - Let Us Become More Aware of His Presenceby Dr. Pam Morrison on September 27, 2022 at 9:30 am
Walter Beuttler was a Bible college professor - and so much more. He was a man with a ministry to the nations for several decades. What was remarkable about him was his ability to sense the presence of the Lord and interact with Him. Because of this sensitivity, he and his students experienced many powerful visitations to his classroom. But was this capacity to encounter the Lord only for Walter, a man now deceased and unavailable to teach more generations of students? Or, is it something the Lord would love for so many more of His people to have? This podcast is about increasing your capacity to experience in a tangible way, the presence of the Lord. It is about finding greater intimacy with the Spirit. To ask more questions, request prayer, and stay connected, please find my website, blog, and social media sites here at Link Tree.
